Yet another beach afternoon (Bluffers Beach in Toronto)! We had to check out the progress of those toad eggs we saw being laid on Thursday (Day 3). And, lo and behold, the wee eggs have hatched into wee little tadpoles! Here’s 3 below. They are tiny. I’m guessing maybe 5mm long.
The mayflies are out and about:
And the seagulls were abundant. There were a ton of cormorants a ways off shore, but my lens wasn’t long enough to capture them.
